Just had a nice surprise.  The Phoenix Metro Chamber of Commerce features my firm, CBN Building Maintenance, in the cover article, titled "Sustainable Profits", in its monthly magazine "Impact". 

It details what we've long preached: the benefits of "Cleaning for Health" for not only the environment, but the bottom line.  Our environmentally friendly chemicals, materials and techniques mentioned include HEPA vacs, microfiber technology, Green Seal chemicals and paper products, our Indoor Air Quality focus, our USGBC membership, and that costs for our environmentally preferred program are more than offset by labor savings achieved by more effective cleaning.  Finally, we're growing in a down market.  The article even features a nice photo of one of our folks in action, taken by our own Karl Wolz, who'se produced most of the great photos on this blog and on our website.

Not much to dislike about that sort of publicity.  Glad we've kept our Chamber membership over the decades, in both good times and bad.
