Instant Hand Sanitizer Mat?

I noticed more instant hand sanitizer stations throughout the convention floor at last years ISSA in Chicago than ever before, this did not surprise me considering the H1N1 scare. I also noticed many of these portable stations "dripped" a certain amount of sanitizer onto the floor underneath them causing staining, slipping and in some instances removing the wax from a floor obviously causing damage to the floor  increases labor by increasing floor care maintenance costs. From these observations I determined a mat might be a good idea to place under these stations. Since ISSA we have introduced an Instant Hand Sanitizer mat, but surprisingly have received little acceptance by the consumer for this type product. I'm curious what others think about such a product and why or why not such a product has had much interest.

Mike, I have had this issue since day one at my hospital. We are a Long term hospital and we use are santitizers and soaps a lot each day. I have used mouse pad mats but they are messy, I have searched for a small mat for this issue invain. I know use Urinal mats under my dispensers in my rest rooms but I can not find anything to put under my sanitizers. How can I find the ISSA mats.

Instead of having to add to an already messy situation using foaming alcohol-free hand sanitizers would stop the problems.  I have worked with schools and flooring companies in the past to educate them on the effectiveness of sanitizing properly without destroying the area around the dispensers.  If the floor is being "eaten up" by the alcohol content in the gooey gels imagine what prolonged use does to your skin!  I can help you solve this problem!
