Does anyone own or use the kai-vac no touch cleaning system. If so what do you think and besides doing a better job cleaning how much time do you save in labor per restroom.  Thanks Very Much

Hello,

According to time studies conducted by ISSA, the world-wide cleaning association, it takes an average of three minutes to clean a restroom fixture.

Using the Kaivac "no-touch" system can cut this time to one minute, according to these studies.

The following example should help explain what this means in terms of dollars and cents:

Number of restrooms cleaned each evening: 20

Using conventional cleaning methods (mops, buckets, sprayers, clothes):

Time required to clean each restroom using conventional cleaning tools: 30 minutes each, or 10 hours per shift

Total labor cost per shift using conventional cleaning tools: $125 (at $12.50 per hour)

Total labor cost per year using conventional cleaning tools: approximately $32,500 (at 260 shifts per year)

Using a Kaivac no-touch system:

Time required to clean each restroom using a no-touch cleaning system: 10 minutes each, or 3.33 hours per shift

Total labor cost per shift using a no-touch cleaning system: $41.63 (at $12.50 per hour)

Total labor cost per year using a no-touch cleaning system: approximately $10,824 (at 260 shifts per year)

Annual savings: an estimated $22,000
