Day Cleaning from 8 am. - 4:30 pm.
How are you perfroming the more intense weekly duties in and around tenants in a commercial office setting? There are limited windows ot time that a department may be vacant such as during lunch. The property is too large to fit the detail cleaning into down times in respective areas of the building. (Items such as detail dusting and wiping, detail vacuuming, cleaning of telephones, etc.)
This is the opportunity for the cleaning staff to really get to know the customers. You work with them . They will pick up their feet to vacuum and hand you their phone to clean. Most customers want their area clean and if they don't .Then more time for you to do other areas. Use the break times/lunch times for these difficult areas.
More day cleaning is probably in all of our future due to stricter privacy protection laws, employee theft rising, and the push to become more energy efficient. I guess we'll all just have to customize a program for each building as they consider it. I like the idea myself. More time for all of us to spend at home with family an night. It could be easier to retain Janitorial employees if the hours were more day time. However a lot of my crews have day jobs and this is their extra income. HMMM, guess we'll see how it goes.
Deep cleaning we'll require more precise scheduling and knowledge of area usage for sure.
For vacuuming, have you heard of some of the newer quiet vacs? I am a rep for ProTeam Vacuums , and we have both a backpack and canister model designed specifically for this type of cleaning. We call it the QuietPro BP HEPA and the QuietPro CN HEPA .
A lot of R&D went into these vacuums to make them extremely quiet to use. We put a lot of sound dampening material in the exhaust filter area to reallycut down on the noise. You really need to see a demo to get the full effect, but you could literally be vacuuming 2 ft away from someone on the phone and not interrupt them at all because they won't hear anything. They have a dual mode switch as well, to give you a little more power and suction when you are in areas where you don't have to stay quiet.
As I said, my company (Market Advantage Plus) are the reps for ProTeam vacuums, howerver, we only cover the 6 New England states. If you are in my area, we can arrange to set up a demo if you like? Please message me back here or call us (our contact info is on our website). If you are in a different region of the country, ProTeam has various reps that cover different areas of the country. You could either call ProTeam, or look at their list of reps here.
Lastly, whether you are interested in this vacuum, or any of our other models, be aware that ProTeam has some coupons available that you can fill out to get cash back straight from ProTeam. (pasting below from another post I did as I put links to the coupons).
We are currently running a promotion with coupons that let you get an additional $15 off per unit straight from the factory. (Max of 10 units/ $150). Here is a link to a PDF of the coupon on my site.
