First of all, the "plume" is not an issue with the hygienic disposable seat covers because it is a new covering for each user. Second, if the plume is so dangerous why are toilet seats so much cleaner than desks and cell phones?

We have only two customers (about 10 toilets total) with these seats but I have never seen any contamination between the seat and the seat cover. Even if there was, it might look bad but would be contained within the plastic cover.

The only real question is what will you do if you arm no one and then have a situation?

Yes this need careful thought, Yes this need proper training, Yes this requires you to hire quality people but shouldn't we be doing that anyway? Yes the police may be minutes away, but I challenge you to test that. The national average is 10 minutes and that,s just the beat cop. It take significantly longer to get swat to the seen... How many will die in 10 minutes while you through staplers at the attacker?

I do not what to be the guy that after a tragic event says I could have done something to minimize or stop this but i was afraid of the liability.

By the way active shooter is not the only threat you may face. Emotion based violence can evolve quickly with the attacker improvising a weapon in many ways, form box cutters and baseball bats to cars and tools.

Keep in mind as well that there are non lethal defensive weapons as well. such as stun guns, tazers and bean bag guns.

I am not saying arm your entire staff but for crying out loud PLEASE plan ahead. What will you do?? The police can not "protect you" , they can only respond to what has already happened.. and after thought will not change what has already happened
